Are you considering purchasing this latest release from LORAC? I've been using this palette for a little over a week now and have formed some opinions which I will share with you today.

Ok, so now it's bullet-point review time....
PACKAGING:
*Sleek and slim with a magnetic closure and large mirror inside
*Rubberized texture which unfortunately gets pretty dirty but I LOVE the plum color they chose!
*Includes a travel size "Behind the Scenes Eye Primer"
SHADOWS:
*8 Matte and 8 Shimmer Shades
*Colors are more in the "cool" family with more mauve and plum tones
*Matte formula performs great across the board
*Shimmers are a bit mixed for me.
SUMMARY:
I think this is a really good palette overall and is probably my second favorite of the 4 LORAC Pro palettes. Even though I usually prefer more of the "warm" toned shadows, "Ginger" and "Amaretto" provide just the right amount of warmth needed for me to pull off the other cooler toned shadows in this palette. The color range is good and you can create some great looks with just this palette. If it were up to me, though, I would have swapped out the "Soft Pearl" shade for one that is a little more of a "champagne" color to use as an inner corner highlight. But that's just my preference :-)

- Candelight (as you'll see in the demo) is BEAUTIFUL and shows up super metallic on the eyes with very little effort.
- Java and Midnight also have GREAT pigmentation but don't show up very shimmery at all on the eyes (which I actually don't mind).
- Iced Rose and Silver Mauve really had to be built up and then I also wet my brush just to get a little more of a sheen to show up on the eyes.
